We're committed to creating a welcoming environment for neurodivergent guests, including those who are autistic, have ADHD, or experience sensory sensitivities.


Here's how we currently support your comfort:

Physical Adjustments:

  • Dimmable lighting in all rooms and blackout options in bedrooms.
  • Uncluttered, predictable spaces with muted colours
  • Natural fibres and varied textures for sensory comfort
  • Weighted blankets and white noise machine available in each bedroom
  • Sensory and fidget toys box provided
  • Unscented toiletries available upon request


Communication:

  • Visual guides for appliances and house systems in the Welcome Guide
  • Emergency information clearly displayed with visuals within the house
  • WhatsApp and email communication rather than calls or face to face
  • Flexible self check-in to reduce interaction
  • Detailed video tour through the house on the website comfort page

  • How do I Change or Cancel my Booking?

    We have a flexible booking and cancellation policy. 


    • Booking dates can be rearranged free of charge up to 30 days before check-in.

    • Bookings are fully refundable up to 30 days before check-in. 

    • We also offer a Book Now Pay Later if this is required (please enquire)

  • Can I change my Check In or Check Out times?

    Yes, please let us know at the time of booking and if we can accommodate we will.


    Standard Book Direct Check-In time is 3pm

    Standard Book Direct Check-Out time 11am


    Our deep clean takes around 4 hours to complete (all being well) so bear this in mind.


    Early Check-In,  before 1pm we will have to charge the nightly rate as we won't be able to accommodate a booking the night before.


    Late Check-Out, anytime after 1pm we will have to charge the nightly rate as we won't be able to accommodate a booking that night.

  • What is your Cleaning Policy?

    We offer a deep 'check -in' clean which is  included in your booking cost.


    Our cleaners are trained to our high standards and have a thorough checklist to ensure the cleaning is executed carefully.


    Damages and faults are also noted, recorded & rectified. Cleaner's working hours are 9am to 5pm and the full cleaning process takes between 4-5 hours.


    It is a 3-step process: Clean - Disinfect - Sanitise

  • What is your Environmental Policy?

    Enjoy the Pause received 76% 'Green REST' in its first REST assessment(2020)


    Responsible, Environmental and Sustainable Tourism (REST)


    Environmental - high energy efficient goods, green gas and electric, energy saving divices, eco toileteries and cleaning products, clear recycling processes, minimal plastic used, upcycled furniture.

  • Are Towels and Bedding Provided?

    Yes we offer a large fluffy bath towel per guest and additional 2 hand towels in the bathroom.


    We do however have a washer dryer and laundry supplies in the kitchen that guests can use at their convenience.


    Both beds will be made up before arrival with soft cotton mattress toppers, covers and quilt covers, pillow cases and large back rest cushions.

  • What Baby and Toddler Items do you have?

    • 1 Travel Cot (any more charged at £5 each)
    • GRO Alarm / Night-light Clock
    • Baby Blankets
    • Changing Mat
    • Baby Bath
    • 1 Booster Chair (any more charged at £5 each)

    Parking passes 2hr £2 & All Day £5 each

    House Keeping £40 (2 hour clean)
