  • How do I Change or Cancel my Booking?

    We have a flexible booking and cancellation policy. 


    • Booking dates can be rearranged free of charge up to 30 days before check-in.

    • Bookings are fully refundable up to 30 days before check-in. 

    • We also offer a Book Now Pay Later if this is required (please enquire)

  • Can I change my Check In or Check Out times?

    Yes, please let us know at the time of booking and if we can accommodate we will.


    Standard Book Direct Check-In time is 3pm

    Standard Book Direct Check-Out time 11am


    Our deep clean takes around 4 hours to complete (all being well) so bear this in mind.


    Early Check-In,  before 1pm we will have to charge the nightly rate as we won't be able to accommodate a booking the night before.


    Late Check-Out, anytime after 1pm we will have to charge the nightly rate as we won't be able to accommodate a booking that night.

  • What is your Cleaning Policy?

    We offer a deep 'check -in' clean which is  included in your booking cost.


    Our cleaners are trained to our high standards and have a thorough checklist to ensure the cleaning is executed carefully.


    Damages and faults are also noted, recorded & rectified. Cleaner's working hours are 9am to 5pm and the full cleaning process takes between 4-5 hours.


    It is a 3-step process: Clean - Disinfect - Sanitise

  • What is your Environmental Policy?

    Enjoy the Pause received 76% 'Green REST' in its first REST assessment(2020)


    Responsible, Environmental and Sustainable Tourism (REST)


    Environmental - high energy efficient goods, green gas and electric, energy saving divices, eco toileteries and cleaning products, clear recycling processes, minimal plastic used, upcycled furniture.

  • Are Towels and Bedding Provided?

    Yes we offer a large fluffy bath towel per guest and additional 2 hand towels in the bathroom.


    We do however have a washer dryer and laundry supplies in the kitchen that guests can use at their convenience.


    Both beds will be made up before arrival with soft cotton mattress toppers, covers and quilt covers, pillow cases and large back rest cushions.

  • How Accessible is the house?

    The house was decorated with calming, muted, and matte colours. As much natural light as possible which can be toned down with blinds and nets. Dimmable lighting, soft surfaces, rounded corners, good wifi for multiple devices and a secure back garden.


    Due to the townhouse style of the property, we do have a step into the property (both the front door and back door) and an internal single flight of stairs up to the bathroom and bedrooms.


    The step into the property is 300mm high, the back door has 2 steps both 150mm down. The internal stairs have a handrail on both sides. 


    The ground floor is all open plan with no steps between areas. 


    Access into the property is via a light-up keypad but if vision is a problem we can provide a sterilised key fob for your stay. The heating is controlled via a NEST dial on the wall with a large display.


    The smoke / CO2 alarms both upstairs and downstairs have sensor nightlights to aid nighttime movement. There are also additional sensor nightlights on the stairs. You can increase or decrease the level of light to suit your stay on each device.


    Also within the property, there is an extra internal doorbell with an adjustable ring volume.
