OUR CLEANING PROCEDURES

"Our Deep Clean before and after a guest stay is Environmentally Friendly "

Step 1: CLEAN with the Eco product Koh, proven to kill 99.9% of common strains of bacteria such as campylobacter, salmonella and E. coli. Free from harsh chemicals, fragrances, phosphates and parabens.


Step 2: DISINFECT with NHS standard Peritab, proven to have a kill rate at 99.9999% which is also a bio-degradable and environmentally friendly combined disinfectant cleaner.


Step 3: SANITISE all key touchpoints such as switches, door handles, handrails and TV remotes.


Our cleaners are trained to our high standards and have a thorough checklist to ensure the cleaning is executed carefully.


Damages and faults are also noted, recorded & rectified.


Cleaner's working hours are 9am to 5pm and the full cleaning process takes between 4-5 hours.

Our clean incorporates the latest government and industry guidelines.


We have clear processes in place that maintain cleanliness.


Our new cleaning window has expanded to ensure all stringent measures are completed and therefore Check-In is from 3pm and Check-Out is 11am


Our staff complete a 'safe to work' check before entering the property and where suitable PPE if appropriate.

Please wash hands with soap for at least 20 seconds 

(as advised by W.H.O)  

upon entering and re-entering the property

put out all rubbish at the end of your stay.

OUR SAFETY / LEGAL PROCEDURES

The house is currently up to date and in line with) the new self-catering fire regulations set out by the Home Office in March 2023 which took effect 1st Oct 2023. Our fire risk assessment is reviewed yearly (Oct).


There are no gas appliances except the combi boiler which was fitted in 2019 and serviced once a year (last serviced Mar'23)


All electrical domestic installation equipment is tested every 5 years (last tested Mar'23) and all small appliances PAT tested yearly (tested Mar'23 - date stickers visible).


A general risk assessment of the property is also reviewed yearly (Jan).


A fire extinguisher and first aid kit are under the kitchen sink.


The fire blanket and fire instructions are attached to the wall near the back door.


There are NEST wired-in smoke / Co2 alarms downstairs and upstairs, which also have nightlight sensors.

"Please ensure all guests exit the front of the building as quickly as possible in an emergency

and contact the fire services."
